What is Madcap Charity?
Madcap Charity responds to worldwide calls for relief during times of humanitarian need and crisis. It's A Madcap Life Etsy Team sellers donate a portion of their sales to the internationally accredited relief agency of their choice. Madcap Charity sponsors many worthy charitable causes. Some of our issues include childhood illness, cancer, AIDS, human rights, famine and disaster relief.Madcap Charity has chosen the American Red Cross as our current focus for sponsorship. The American Red Cross mission is to "prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors." This organization is actively involved in helping to provide relief to the millions of people affected by Hurricane Sandy. A donation to the American Red Cross helps give care, shelter, life saving blood and hope to those that need it most.

Choose one or more items in your shops and donate a percentage of its proceeds to the American Red Cross or another organization of your choice. You can start by creating Madcap Charity listings and tagging the listings with "madcap charity" so we can easily locate these listings and use them to make awesome treasuries that may be on the front page of Etsy. When you sell that item make sure to donate the money as you had indicated in your listing. Please read on for more details.

Just start tagging the items in your shop listings whose proceeds you want to donate with the team tag "team madcap" and the team charity tag "madcap charity".
List
Change the name of your listing(s) to include the words "Donation to Madcap Charity." Make sure to add the Madcap Charity logo to your item listing(s). This logo is located near the top of this blog page.
